Listened to an NPR story this morning about mass child starvation in Senegal without a single mention of Elon Musk, the guy who gleefully created the conditions for the mass starvation

Elon Musk spent $290 million getting Trump elected. During this midterm cycle, he's spent $85 million. In total, that’s 0.0375% of his $1 trillion net worth. Oligarchs can rig the system at the expense of everyone else, and only spend pennies doing so. We must get Big Money out of politics.

At the risk of sounding corny, I think dogs and cats save us as much as we save them. These companion animals will never lie or cheat on you. They will comfort you through the hardest of times. I swear to you: adopting a shelter animal will be the best decision of your life.
