I'm gutted. Stolen in Baltimore area; CC has already contacted police (there were other items stolen from their workshop + their neighbors), and is generally doing what they can. All I can say right now is... Keep an eye out. Thanks all.

Hey, so our workshop got broken into over the weekend. Most of what was stolen was just replaceable stuff, but one very precious mask was taken. Tierney's head has been stolen. If anyone sees this head anywhere, let us know immediately. Hoping against hope that we can bring her home.

I never put my old cat man up on Bluesky on his own. Hmm. I fix. Synas, my Circle of Stars Druid from western Anauroch. He finds himself, decades later, in Neverwinter after his cards lead him to the coast, to be hired to head to Phandalin to help investigate a cave...

While I think I’ve done enough lion suiting for the summer, I notice that being out in public with him is the only time I ever get genuine compliments relating to anything about me.

the same people who say that mass surveillance can occasionally save a kidnapped kid and so that justifies its use, full stop, will also say that kids dying every month or so in a school shooting is just the price of liberty child lives are unassailable political talking points... until they aren't

Perhaps the biggest insult made against me while I was terminal manager downtown was when my boss indirectly asked me to “write down my process”; I was posting the best metrics. MF’er you think just anyone can do this job reading a bullet-point list? I took that as a backhanded dismissal of skill.

Concurrent with musings of previous post, I feel I need a refresh of my belongings. New computer, new desk, new desk chair, new bed, new rugs, new couch, new TV, new dinnerware, new dresser…. I even want to get Bora’s head overhauled and other parts upgraded. Lots of $$$$

I think I figured out why I don’t feel good about my current situation. I still *feel* unemployed. How’s that? I was unemployed for over a full year and had grown accustomed to sitting around the house, not doing anything because I had no money to do anything. 1/2
