This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.

In other Michigan news, the state looks set to elect it's first transgender lawmaker. Joanna Whaley won her Democratic primary and will compete in November for a state house seat, beating a primary opponent who tried and failed to disqualify her for not running under her deadname

It's really baffling how groups like AIPAC can spend $30M on a Senate *PRIMARY* thinking they are doing something better than say...using all the money to actually help people who need it and lift them up directly instead of trying to shape a country in their image for only their benefit.

it's always funny how, for ages, these same chuds always valued art based on labour involved, ie if someone taped a banana to a wall or just painted a large canvas red, it was "lazy" and "anyone can just do that" and now that AI lets them larp as creators it's "none of that matters, only intention"

It's cool losing 30lbs (with maybe another 10-20 to go) and still having that negative body image...really goes back to being made fun of as a school kid. But I think that way of thinking is going away a bit. We'll see how it goes.
