It gets an actual chuckle out of me seeing people on here say "now the TRUE test is whether the shitlibs can live up to their own words and line up behind El-Sayed!" only for Stevens, Whitmer, every prominent Michigan Dem, the DSCC, etc. to have endorsed El-Sayed before they can finish the sentence.

one of my go-to examples: at some point since the early 2000s they figured out how to make whole-wheat pasta that doesn’t have the texture of sand. even the cheap store-brand stuff is just good now

As a slight counter to some of the 'Bluesky bubble' chat I'm seeing - I actually think having a broad consensus on certain issues (bog standard social liberalism, with a wide variety of views on other areas) actually makes this place *more* intellectually vibrant in some ways
