If it's clickable, add a hover state. If you can click it, it should look different on hover. Pointer cursor is a good start. Add a hover state. Maybe even focus state. But definitely a hover state. You may not be the CSS person, but you can still add a hover state. Add a hover state

So it looks like masonry style layouts are going to be created with display: grid-lanes. github.com/w3c/csswg-dr... There were a lot of names proposed, and after some polling, this one was pretty heavily favoured. There were a few others I liked more, but I think it's a good choice.
