Is everything terrible right now? Pretty much. But if you try to focus on all of it, you will not be able to function. So do what you can to make the world a better place to exist in- in the ways that you can & forgive yourself for what you can't. Doing something is always better than doing nothing.
Conservatives built a fascist movement over decades by never giving up on a chance, however small, to drive their ideology. Countering that includes having every person with even the slightest platform pushing back at every opportunity. Even if it doesn’t do anything now.

should probably let it be known that while upgrading my PC, i found out the new motherboard was DOA, so u have to wait for a new one and have no PC in the meantime 🥲
this is kind of a niche issue but: if you are getting weird and hostile responses that feel a little off, there are some folks on here making accounts that automatically reply to large quantities of posts in a vaguely hostile manner. you can ignore them, and also, it's not personal
