Genuinely do not trust any decomp/recomp project until it's verified that the team behind it is very anti-AI, every single one of them is a scam because we're currently in the AI dipshit backpat gold rush of every moron dropping hundreds to get credit as the first to make a shitty emulator.
it's AI nevermind
Having an editorial team of only cis-men in 2026 is a management failure, and we should treat it as such. There's no shortage of highly skilled, overqualified, funny, smart, and direct women, femme, trans, and non-binary people TRYING to work in games media. We just don't get to most of the time.
Are you a cis man feeling disgusted at the news? Good. Use that. Talk to your fellow men about what you're going to do to make our industry and our world safer. And then actually do it. You may lose friends or opportunities, but a better and safer industry and world starts with you.
30 years ago the Nintendo 64 launched in North America. 30 years of memories. Today, a new chapter for us. 30+ games, 40+ contributors, 250+ pages. Save State is a premium retrospective journal, each issue tackling one console at a time. Cover artworks by Caroline Choi & @bettyjiang.bsky.social
Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.
Buddy it wasn't even the worst platformer released in 1996 with the words "Sonic" and "Blast" in the title.
today's hardware designers could never conceive of what Kazuo Kawasaki was doing in 1996

I've got a new (kinda chaotic/messy) chapter of OCP finally posted. I have TWO completely different ORIGINAL novels in need of beta reading. I also have TWO goofy side project Pokemon one-shot fics that aren't posted publicly, too If anyone is interested in reading/feedbacking on any, lemme know.
We made this fighting game animation and my husband put extra love in the fake UI I'm so proud 🥹
Big thanks to @shaipo.bsky.social for letting me animate this wonderful illustration by @mgosketches.bsky.social It was so much fun to work on, especially because I love recreating game interfaces!
I now have a Patreon! I'd love to build a community of people who love old retro gaming setups and keep making stuff for people to enjoy. If you love old consoles, CRT TVs, and hate that social media is dominated by AI slop setups, then I have you covered. www.patreon.com/flipsatan/po...
Okay, let's do this | Flip Satan
