Recipe for iced coffee. 1 Make strong coffee with hot water & sweetening to taste. 2 Become distracted. 3 Hours later, rediscover now cold, untouched coffee. 4 Add ice cube.

I hate how judgmental we've all become. Do everything right all the time or you're a horrible person. We're human. We do make mistakes. We learn from those mistakes. We should be able to come back from making a mistake. Current social media climate is unforgiving, though.

I have three days until vacation. I'm so stressed out and at the same time I have no energy. Plus a shit ton of stuff to do before going on vacation. Lovely.

There’s also something to be said about Paladin’s Grace because it’s got beheadings and poisonings and stoic paladins. But Clara is awesome and definitely a favorite. Istvahn waking up in her cleavage is a classic.

@tkingfisher.com has lowkey ruined most het romance for me with Paladin's Strength because *don't these people understand how much hotter it is when the female love interest is a giant werebear nun instead of a tiny delicate 'quirky' girl?* Clara/Istvahn OTP

The Dispatch map is driving me nuts. I can’t reliably select what I want to select especially under time pressure, which is pretty much all there is in the final episode. Which means I sometimes miss missions because I can’t select them. Console issues, I suppose.

I’ve been playing Dispatch. I really want to like it, but I so don’t. I think in part it’s because it feels as if it doesn’t matter what I select, the player character will say what he wants regardless of what I choose but also because the gameplay and the UX is frustrating to me.

I'm sitting at home, making a birthday card for a friend and singing along to Rufus Wainwright songs. Loudly. Because you can only sing Rufus Wainwright songs really loudly.

The games industry is exhausting. I love the work. It’s challenging and interesting. The uncertainty, not knowing how long before the next cut happens, or if you get to stay with colleagues that you love working with… it’s tiring.

The thing that confuses me the most with Tron Ares (apart from the misogynoir happening), is Gillian Anderson. Well, I mean, I assume there was a lot of money attached.

I've been on "vacation" for a week. Well, almost. I had a meeting on Monday so I worked, and then I popped in for a meeting on Tuesday although I was off and then I worked all day Tuesday because reasons. The only reason I didn't work more was because I was out with a tension headache. Life.

I woke up at 3.30 am this morning, attempted to not get up until 4.10 and am now conceding defeat, getting a shower and going to work. On my second day of vacation. Because if I don’t fix this I won’t be able to relax at all. This is the aftermath of crunch.

Women who do crafts and have really long nails for some reason bug me like nothing else. To be fair if they were men with really long nails doing crafts that would bug me too.
