New demo: Animated CSS Grid Layout. codepen.io/bramus/pen/o... Here’s the thing: No View Transitions. No JS at all. Instead, it uses Anchor Positioning to anchor the cell contents to the cell. Then, CSS transitions are used to animate the contents to their new location as the grid re-layouts.

Added support for Standard.site to cross-posted Bluesky posts. This is a new convention for long-form blogging using the AT Protocol. Initially, you can think of it as extra metadata for your blog posts on Bluesky, with more interoperability between platforms possible later.

Quick service post because I just tweaked my `.npmrc`: If you haven't updated your package manager config, here's how to disallow installing (very) fresh packages to limit supply chain attack risk.

npm: `min-release-age=7` in your `.npmrc`. That's 7 days. pnpm: `minimumReleaseAge: 10080` in `pnpm-workspace.yaml`. 7 days in minutes. bun: `minimumReleaseAge = 604800` under `[install]` in `bunfig.toml`. 7 days in seconds.

And for #2, it’s absolutely true that AI can be fantastic learning tool, but it can only answer the questions that you know to ask. There’s a vast ocean of knowledge out there, and until you become an expert, it's hard to tell which parts are important (or true, for that matter 😅).
