Recently created this piece, a fictional U.I part of a larger collection that deals with representing our attempts to impose order and structure on the way we interface with our world. Inspired by Star Wars & other sci-fi work, I mocked it up in a scene from rogue one to check its diegetic nature.

Been looking at this and can't escape the connection to Kanagawa oki nami ura. There's a looming inevitability about a splash or a wave caught before it crashes. A form of stored energy, the moment can never be still.
‘The Firepit’ - created this a while ago, was a take on something more realistic than my other abstract works. Still happy every time I walk past it
Fun fact: I’ve done album covers and art collaborations for Blue Note Records and some amazing Grammy winning legends over the years. This cover right here though has my heart a little. IYKYK.
