An owner-operated game store with a focus on TTRPGs and a smattering of board games and miniatures. Located at 128 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232
I stop by the Goodwill most days on my walk to the shop. Some of the treasures that I find get used in the shop (almost all of our chairs are second-hand). Today’s find resulted in an impromptu half-mile farmer’s carry!
Great stack of new arrivals hitting the shop today! What’s catching your eye?
I drew a map to help you find my great selection of roleplaying games!
SAVE THE DATE for our Trans Lifeline HELLWHALERS Charity Stream on Sept 23 AND 24! 👀 With @helpactionneeded.bsky.social @dmsteve.bsky.social @thecandacemarie.bsky.social and @ameliasom.com Sept 23 & 24 🐋 5:30 PT
Our paint rack has a buddy, in the form of the new John Blanche rack! These are great colors for your grimdark paint projects.
We’re finally set up to sell gift cards. Let us help you shop for the TTRPG enthusiast in your life!
I'm gonna do a lil thread tour of my new favorite #FLGS in #Portland, @dicepoolpdx.bsky.social! It's a cool little spot. They've got a huge selection of indie #ttrpg stuff, including a huge variety of games, and the shop owners are so nice and passionate. Let's check it out!
Come join our ttrpg book club September 15th at 5:30 in the shop to discuss Tollund!
What are you painting? Join us every Thursday from 3-8 pm for Paint Night!
Come paint with us on Thursday from 3-7. Bring a project and make some friends!
If you buy a ttrpg book from the big name game, you help an executive increase profitability for shareholders. If you buy a ttrpg from a small indie designer, you help them pay their rent or feed their kid, etc.
I think one of the coolest things you can do, is to regularly get together with some very cool designers and creatives that you respect and admire and then make and discuss even more cool things. Literally chicken soup for the soul.
Smacked Down is the game of independent pro wrestling from Brainless Creations. I’m selling the minis too, so pick an opponent and make it happen!
This week’s new arrivals are awesome! A variety of new games from our friends at @exaltedfuneral.bsky.social
Just got stock yesterday. Excited for this beautiful book by a local RPG author!

Looking forward to this!
Evil Hat@evilhat.bsky.social · 2y ago"Every tavern has its rowdy patrons. You know they’re good at heart, but sometimes when the ale is flowing and spirits are high, things get out of hand. How do you handle the situation?" Stewpot: Tales from a Fantasy Tavern Coming Feb. 10th. Pre-order here: stewpot.backerkit.com/survey_stores
Need more of this! I’d love to see this adopted across the tabletop industry. Down with the AI slop!
Hinokodo@hinokodo.com · 2y agohinokodo.itch.io/human-made If you're making something and it was made by humans, consider telling people that. In our new world, help folks find games and art made by people. It can be hard to tell the differences. So just show folks your stuff is made by humans.
Always happy to place special orders! Just ordered a half-dozen copies of Eat the Reich for a customer’s bachelor party in March.
