I'm very excited to be concocting way-too-early and very incomplete advanced metrics for the WPBL! I'm sure they'll update the league their website with more stats the moment I finish this code, but it's a fun exercise anyway.

Ah! I'm so excited! When we (at the #Marlins) signed him back in 2021, Yan was playing in a men's rec league and modeling on the side. His journey to the majors isn't the stuff of a Disney movie. It's more like a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure manga. He's got real main character energy and I love him.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see him, at minimum, in a bulk role. His conversation to relief hasn't resulted in the performance jump you'd normally expect. Why not stretch him back out?

I personally am very bothered by my future brain aneurysm thanks to Taylor Walls and Tyler Wells being on the same #Rays team.

Last night was very helpful in figuring which team was most equipped to play in tornadic conditions. Hopefully that's not very useful information for the remainder of the #WPBL season.
