Under-celebrated in the wider world is the name of Joan Vila-Grau, the designer of the stunningly beautiful stained glass windows of the Sagrada Familia. Their contribution to the divine experience & physical affects of the internal spaces cannot be overstated. Magical. #JoanVilaGrau #SagradaFamilia

Part of a 4th century #Roman floor featuring waves, calyx and guilloche Simple but undeniably effective 🤩 From a villa at Brislington found in 1899, lifted in 1900 by Bristol Museum and now on display in the M Shed on Prince's Wharf Happy #MosaicMonday 😊
Ireland has the highest concentration of water and power ravenous, pollution-spewing, data centres per head of population in ALL Europe. We need to unite and fight this.
My god. A Virginia data center ran backup diesel generators full blast for 24 hours, creating a giant cloud of toxic smoke that choked its human neighbors. The government claimed there was nothing they could do.
The quality of social housing being built in Paris takes some beating. Yes… this is new social housing! 107 apartments with solid stone facades, designed by AAVP Architecture. Photos by Benoît Santiard Would you just look at that beautiful balustrade!

I'll say it again you don't need AI to make a compelling poster for your business you need a crayon and a pure heart
Sen. Bernie Sanders: “If you believe, as I do, that Donald Trump is the most dangerous president in the history of the US that Trump does not respect or appreciate the Constitution or the rule of law.. then we cannot allow this US Senate to remain under Republican control”
Today is World Migratory Bird Day. Please say hello to the Pfeilstorch (‘arrow stork’). In 1822 this bird was shot in the German village of Klütz. It already had a 30-inch arrow in its neck. The arrow was made of African wood, and this bird played a pivotal role in our understanding of migration.
This isn't my giraffe, in fact it isn't anybody's. It's what's currently popular on Instagram, a 'making project', done by AI. A knife (upside down) cuts right through the drawing, ears get stuck over the eyes . . . then attached to its arse, finally, it's 10 times the size. 🙄 #edusky

“The only sensible solution at this point is a moratorium on datacentres until very basic questions about how many we need, what for, where, and how pollution will be avoided are answered satisfactorily by the government” - @olliehayes.bsky.social 👏
Drax datacentre could create nearly twice the yearly emissions of all Gatwick flights
Exclusive: Campaign group’s analysis of North Yorkshire plans finds datacentre would have to burn 4.9m tonnes of wood a year

Well, that's a hell of a thing to leave next to a statue of Joan of Arc.😏
