I collect businesses that name themselves after distant landmarks within Minneapolis. I just found one with a "University of Minnesota location" that is 1.5 miles from the nearest part of the University of Minnesota campus.

My elderly mother is still warning me to beware of "internet hobbits" & also "all of that really creepy A-One stuff," and I corrected her the first few times on how to say it, but then I stopped when I realized I enjoy her and her way of putting things more.

The Yardbirds played the next day on Aug. 5!

If you'd like something even more dangerous, our archive is so old that we don't use these fancy modern rolling stacks. Ours are attached to a motorised chain that runs the length of the room. This means sometimes they like to move by themselves just a little, enough to keep you on edge.

I was in a friend’s rental car and in place of a rear-view mirror there was a mirror-sized digital video feed of the back of the car. They replaced one of the most reliable & intuitive safety features in a car with a digital surrogate that could glitch at any moment. KEEP ANALOG SAFTEY FEATURES
