One of my absolute favorite movies. How do you turn a possible epidemic outbreak into a noir? Well, they do it here

Tonight’s noir: PANIC IN THE STREETS (1950), with Richard Widmark, Paul Douglas and Barbara Bel Geddes, plus Jack Palance in an electrifying debut. #TheNoirCollective watch party begins at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer. ⬇️😊 Link to watch: archive.org/details/pani...

Not an Evangelical but pretty sure you burn in Hell for being an infamous draft-dodger and notorious coward who posts AI images of yourself on the front lines of a war you started to enrich yourself and your friends without any interest in how many kids or American soldiers it kills

I hit issue #50 in Bendis/Maleev Daredevil & I gotta say I’m still underwhelmed on this re read. It was like a nice pressure release of the story up to this point, but I feel there’s no clear thesis and the only thing going on is “make Matt uncomfy”

By way of @thereheil-deal.bsky.social is a way to order the Star Wars: Jedi -- Fallen Order manga from the UK for those of you in the US without the hassle of tariffs. Check it out on the Star Wars Comics subreddit if you're so inclined. #StarWars #StarWarsManga #Jedi #FallenOrder

Appreciate the opportunity from Gate Crashers to write about Brutal Dark’s first issue! I loved it and think it’s one the most promising of the new Vertigo titles

I have a rough pitch for The Hunt for Ben Solo that I think could blend well the Legends Legacy era with current canon by way of The World Between Worlds, and the Netherworld of the Force we see in Legacy of Vader, and end up setting the stage for the future of Star Wars stories

I think Pornsak’s entire body of comic work speaks louder than anything he might’ve had to do with the Arrow tv show when it comes to the potential of the Absolute GA series. Praising Condon’s run (a very good book) & Arcadia as these superior versions before Absolute even comes out

Little bit of a shelf update for my comics! I’ve branched quite a bit into Disney comics over the last 2 years and that’s been a lot of fun. I feel like I’m hitting a point where I’m closing in on a really well curated collection of things I love and have special meaning to me that I’ve read

Can’t believe Legacy of Vader ends this week. What a book too. Hopefully there’s more to come in some way. Star Wars comics feel like they’re in a very strange place right now, and it’s not the best after almost 11 years straight of stellar publishing

I finally started Baltimore, and holy shit it’s amazing. I’m reading the novel alongside the comic and it’s fun to see them run side by side. I’m being careful to avoid spoilers with the comic since I only read a bit of the novel per day
