The pink creature

Clip from an article about the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 trailer announcement with the text, "Kristen Bell was recently announced to voice Amy Rose, the pink creature with a major crush on Sonic."

The text 'pink creature' has been highlighted for emphasis because that's the most corporate way to describe someone who is also a hedgehog.

Our lead illustration researcher is working overtime! In some places it's customary to give a gift back to your Valentine, though nonchalantly flinging white chocolate at them like Pearl and Marie are doing here seems less customary.

"Berdsong", alt, 1/128 Smile". Mixed media, crayon plus pixel edits plus regular photo manipulation, then a bunch of cutting things out and staring at them. About rare drops and classic games. these kids goofy as hell. ✨💙❤️💚 #Deltarune #Kerdly #Berdly #KrisDreemur

A multimedia collage centered around a crayon drawing of Berdly intensely showing his handheld gaming device of some description to Kris, shoving it into their face as he poses triumphantly, feathers INCREDIBLY fluffed up from excitement. Kris is looking, and possibly smiling very slightly, their hair somewhat textured and their fingernails painted black. A single flyaway hair makes a human soul shape above them. Around them, the locker pops like an exaggerated fan, And a deluge of information about the Sword of Kings from Earthbound, swirling around Berdly as he info dumps. Behind Kris is selections from the wikipedia page for bird vocalizations, with the word ‘birdsong’ edited to be Berd song. It also highlights the use of birdsong to attract mates or defend territory.

Berdly’s deluge of information includes information from Starmen.net, the official guide, and the Japanese game manual pages for the characters. It is just visible that Berdlys name has been written as Ness’, and Kris’ name has been written in for Poo (with incorrect kana). The Starmen.net walkthrough sections have been edited to emphasize that the sword of kings is rare, only found in one place, for a 1/128 drop rate, and the only weapon Poo can use in the game.

Along with the information are Deltarune style text boxes, which begin near berdly, and are then read counter clockwise because it looks good. They read:

There's this. One kid at school.
You are NOT friends. Obviously.

But nobody else had even heard of this game.
It took you HOURS.

Only one place. One enemy.
1/128 drop rate.

Every time you almost gave
up, you thought of the look their face.

The odds that they’ll actually be impressed are demonstrably quite low.

Maybe as low as 1/128.

You think you can beat those odds.

strayknight posting an image on tumblr showing (presumably the poster) a yellow pikmin plush grabbed tightly with the text: "the club sucked so bad so me and my pikmin are going home due to aforementioned club being so sucks" saejima-nyan04 asks "OP why did you bring your pikmin to the club" to which strayknight responds with "he likes the espresso martinis there"

Chapter Four #deltarune

An illustration of Kris from Deltarune. The imagery is from Chapter 4 of the game. Kris looks at the viewer in their Dark World outfit as they push their younger self onto piano keys, face down. Four swords pierce their torso. Above them, a Dark fountain shoots upward, with the small silhouette of the Roaring Knight in the middle. The text on the bottom reads: The distance between two.

There's this dialogue in chapter 3- it's really easy to miss. You have to backtrack to one of the rooms where Ralsei was leading the party. But I think about it a lot. About Ralsei. About Tenna. About Kris. About 'Kris'. About.... #Deltarune #KrisDreemur #TheRoaringKnight

A multimedia collage of crayon and printed text boxes and cut paper. Kris stands in front of the knight, who cradles them in broken paper arms, made of RGB color, like a CRT television uses. Above them in shadows hangs a broken shell, its inside yellow and red, just barely visible. Kris' chest is yellow and red, just barely visible. Light spills up from the direction Kris faces, creating the distorted shadow of the Knight spilling up to the broken shell. Shards of paper spill up from around kris and the Knight where they have been cut free of their original paper. Around them text boxes say:

A CRACKED CONCH, SURROUNDED BY WASHED UP GLASS.
NOT A PERSON SEEMED TO WANT IT.
LISTEN TO IT?
THE SOUND OF THE OCEAN...
A PITY, IT WAS JUST REPEATING ALL IT KNEW.
BUT YOU COULD STILL HEAR THE SOUND OF THE OCEAN.
