Update... now it goes from harmless to a genuine problem. This is incredibly unprofessional and a really bad look for such a big company.

It ultimately doesn't matter if the decision was made out of naivety or malice, Big Blue Bubble is NOT an indie company (as much as they want to be seen as one), they are a large corporation that is now using the efforts of community-run projects for a game with ads in it for their main moneymaker
