When did "grown-up" things become so patronizing? I'm getting emails from the credit bureaus saying stuff like: "Wow, congratulations on making your payments ON-TIME, you're so on top of this, way to go champ!"

When you realize there actually exists a whole economic class that is able (and willing) to spend 1/4th of the cost of a house on one night's worth of entertainment. And that this is so normal that event coordinators can reasonably expect those 6 court-side seats to be filled.

The Sea of Thieves demo got me. AI: "So hop on board, raise your anchor and start figuring out the ropes" "Ok, how do I get on the ship?" <AI spends rest of demo spoon feeding instructions to the player so they don't need to 'figure out' anything> 1 step away from: "please play the game for me"

According to Microsoft, 19 percent of early usage was just to chat with the AI as a companion. The guides are seemingly lifted without credit from the internet. It's unclear if that will change before console launch.
