I thought it had been overturned, but I guess there were more appeals down the line.

I love anda curry so much it's pretty much reached the status of go-to comfort food lunch. I make it with coconut milk, and slice the eggs so the yolks get all mushy and thicken the sauce, and it's just *rest of transmission garbled due to talking with my mouth full*

It's fucked the right gets to erase what a moment of technological liberation that was
Today, August 4, 2026, is the setting of Ray Bradbury’s short story “There Will Come Soft Rains” about a fully automated house continuing on after the family who lived there and the world around it died in a nuclear blast.
We muzzle my very timid whippet because she likes eating cigarette butts and chewing gum, and it's had the unexpected benefit of people giving her a wider berth (assuming she's basically Whippet Cujo). She appreciates it, though. Because she's timid.
Alex de Campi@alexdecampi.bsky.social · 3d agoAnd bonus, if you take appropriate precautions like muzzling etc, you don’t have to be hypervigilant any more! Which also makes your dog more relaxed. And if people ask you why you muzzle, you smile and say “my dog is a jerk” and everyone has a little laugh and moves on. There’s v little stigma.

One of the best things you can do for an author is check their book out of the library. If your library doesn't have the title, requesting it is also great! Never apologize. The library bought the book! Sometimes more than one! Because of you!

The latter was due to the high exchange rate ($1 USD = $1.40 CAD) as well as concerns about being turned away by border officials, or being detained by ICE.
