My take on COVID "lockdowns" (really, state and local decisions in the face of a killer plague) is that yes they were bad for children and this is an additional reason why it was morally repugnant when huge segments of the population refused to help with social distancing. Shame on you all.

If Trump lets blue states burn, Canada will be forced to tariff US goods to compensate for the smoke that pours over our border. It pains me that that’s the way it has to be, but those are the rules. I don’t make them up. We have no choice. (<sarcasm>, obviously, but still.)
