Since we are doing eating and Australia this is how you eat fast food sushi in Australia - one of the cheapest quick bites you can get anywhere.

I am eminently qualified to speak from experience about a variety of dumpster fires. ICS DFIR at Dragos, martial artist, marksman, humanist, level 14 Neutral Good rogue, USAF retired. I post *very serious* things about infosec. Thoughts my own. Enby. 🏳️🌈
it's legit hard! for whatever reason, some habits wedge themselves into our brains more firmly than others in Germany I can deal with language, different social norms, different floor numbering... I still screw up the digit "1" all the time 🫠
The sad truth comes out... this is why Lesley only has Macca's at every meal.
Emigrating has generally been a very, very complicated and difficult task, but by far the hardest aspect has been relearning how to use a knife and fork. It's way harder than accents or driving on the other side of the road.
I cannot believe I quit smoking for this.

Cyber has become another industry enshitified by the course selling chancers. First it was IT, then plumbing, electrician, journalist and now cyber professionals. The only way to safeguard jobs is professional registration, but that'll take government intervention. I hate it too.
Even the man stubbornly fights the man in Australia This is the KFC reaction to a postal worker getting fired after an unauthorised KFC break (other stuff too, but everyone likes a good tale)
sorry, turns out it’s crowded house
They had better have chosen ACDC for the Australian emergency alert tone
I'm in Singapore, and somehow I accidentally booked myself a tiny Disney princess hotel room that I can barely move around in without bonking my shins. It is tremendously goofy and fun but I have also been on 70 hours of flights so I'm very tired
i love how centrists continue to do this thing where they say “if DSA becomes more front and center in the party, republicans will run on that!” as if the right doesn’t just say absolutely anything on and run on shit like peanut the squirrel or litterboxes in school bathrooms
It would be interesting to see if there's a connection between Weaving's performance in Priscilla and his casting in The Matrix. Seeing the two roles as opposites in the struggle of trans identity performed by the same actor would be fascinating to explore.
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and The Castle are both absolutely iconic movies for millennials and Gen X, and I can't believe I never saw them in America. I mean, Hugo Weaving giving a thoughtful performance on 90s LGBT struggles, in drag, with dialogue on trans life at the time. (Cis actor aside.)
haven't had a stupid Elon Musk promise like this in a while, we really are doing 2021 again aren't we
JUST IN: Elon Musk says Grok will make a "full-length movie" of The Odyssey that is "historically accurate" by the end of this year.
I'm honestly surprised that you don't get spam highlighting your experience as a level 14 rogue. "Lesley, we think that your skill in OT and disarming traps would make you perfect for our team/party"
No, that can’t be right. I was informed that the Strait was open.

People don't get that how far a bit of courtesy and effort goes in job hunts. I have gifted conference passes, party invites, given referrals, certification vouchers, and internships to mentees who showed up and cared. I've also permanently blocklisted people who low effort AI spammed, or no showed.
I bought a Fjallraven backpack because they were so highly recommended, and I'm sorry, I don't understand the point and I have massive regrets. Someone needs to sell me the bag I purchased, because it's not padded well and has no luggage strap or extra security pockets. Why do people buy these?
Hello, I am a TV weatherman in Punxsutawney, PA, and every morning at exactly 6 am my alarm clock blares out “I’ve Got You Babe.” And now the rest of the world is stuck in this endless loop as well.
I'll be debuting a new paper tomorrow at #OTCEP withJan Hoff. It's about how to detect and more relevantly, remediate large scale commodity malware infections in legacy Windows environments that are unfortunately extremely common in critical infrastructure. dragos.brightspotcdn.com/26/7...

Frontier AI companies when you ask them if cheaper Chinese AI models aren’t just free markets at work?
I consider LGBTQIA a canary in a coal mine, where they are not safe, it’s very likely that no foreigner will be safe either.
Having an in person international or national event in America? Are you weighing factors like lodging and transport? Cool stuff to do? Here's a map to consider if any of your attendees may possibly, even remotely be LGBTQIA. And you care about them.
American exceptionalism is a hell of a drug and psychosis. Try being an immigrant American living somewhere with social medical and telling people it's actually good and less expensive. The bots and naysayers come screaming out of the woodwork to try to make excuses for why it's actchully terrible.
I should think other groups too, like the elderly, would benefit from information
All the joke videos about “donuts would never” etc are more helpful than the official advice! Just getting people to think about options is useful.
As an immunosuppressed person I’m so angry at everyone responsible for the CDC’s non-response to the Cyclospora outbreak. We have no guidelines, just news articles sharing long lists of foods to avoid because they’ve been associated with outbreaks in the past. It’d be funny if it wasn’t so stupid.
103 Democratic members of Congress voted to eliminate $3.3 billion in taxpayer-funded military assistance to Israel, 10 voted "present" and 98 voted no.
