On a night-hunt turned trap, Wei Wuxian gives himself up to try and protect his juniors. Now, cursed, kidnapped, and reliving the pain of the golden core surgery, he fights for a way to break free.

Simultaneously, Jin Ling, Lan Wangji, and Jiang Cheng hunt for him, trying to track down the sect deserters who took Wei Wuxian before it's too late.

Wei Ying has lived a life that was handed down to him by the Jiangs. A family that never truly loved him as their own. Plagued by the desperation to belong, he forgets a plan; one that diverts fully from its course yet arrived him at the destination meant for him.

He learns that love is quantified in ways that he would never fully understand. But he continues to build a life, shining above all and beyond, amidst the stars and besides someone who refuses to leave his side even when he was left entirely stripped of the persona that he carried all his life.

“We cannot let anyone know about this,” Jiang Cheng says, voice lower than natural.

'As if anything about this is natural,' his brain supplies.

He sees his own head nodding, a mere breath away from where he, in Lan Wangji’s body, stands.

A body-swap mayhap might have been the last thing anyone thought would occur in Cloud Recesses, but here we are!

🧚‍♂️ you are my fifth season (never, never fade away) | #WangXian #MDZSRBB26 Writer: Alinanana99 Artist: mil0chan Rating: T Relationships: Wei Wuxian/Lan Wangji 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/903867...

When summer fairy Wei Wuxian sneaks into the Cloud Recesses to find help for Jiang Yanli, he unknowingly kindles a tale of romance that will last decades.

Or; Wei Wuxian is a summer fairy. Lan Wangji is a winter fairy. The borders that separate them are not to be crossed, but that cannot stop Wei Wuxian.

This fairytale has lots of fluff and cuteness, with a pinch of Wangxian angst, and a load of potions and magic!

🩸 time will erase every face (every name) | #XueXiao #MDZSRBB26 By: AquamarineMemeBender Artist: cenedras-art Rating: M Relationships: Xiao Xingchen/Xue Yang 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/91312966

"Xiao Xingchen laughs. His laugh used to be surprisingly full - quiet, but with his chest, with a constant element of surprise as if he never expected it to happen. He would cover his mouth with one hand and look away, and at first there had been a red tinge to his cheeks as he did so, but that had faded gradually - perhaps as he’d gotten more comfortable around Xue Yang, more used to laughing. Poor fool, to get comfortable around someone like Xue Yang - all as he’d planned, and Xiao Xingchen had just done exactly what he wanted, and he still is. He is still doing exactly what Xue Yang wants him to do, only willingly now, and with significantly less annoying breakdowns about it.
Isn’t it great?"
OR: Xue Yang brings Xiao Xingchen back as a fierce corpse. It's perfect - isn't it?

🔪 they say that love kills | #NieYao #MDZSRBB26 Writer: AquamarineMemeBender Artist: hwaths Rating: T Relationships: Nie Mingjue/Jin Guangyao 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/90951341

They say that love kills
Author: AquamarineMemeBender
Rating: Teenage
Relationships: Jin Guangyao/Nie Mingjue
"For centuries, the Nie have been hitmen. Disciplined ones, with a strict code of conduct and a respect for the idea that while some people just needed to die, it had to be handled cautiously.
The Jin are richer than the Nie because they take all and any jobs tossed their way without even a cursory check over who they’re taking out of the world. Jin Guangshan is a snake, vile and opportunistic, and for as clean an image as he tries to present, everyone knows him.
It’s something everyone knows, and everyone lets pass. The same way everyone let the Wen pass, because they were just too powerful to anger, even after they took out Mingjue’s father. And for all he knows, Jin Guangyao is following right in his father’s footsteps.
And that? Is something that he cannot let happen."

For generations, the Jin sect has been using butterflies to send important messages: A declaration of victory on the battlefield or final words meant for one's most beloved. In any case, these butterflies are a sect secret. Under no circumstances must they ever fall into the wrong hands.

...Too bad Lan Jingyi catches a peculiar golden butterfly during a night-hunt, and so the chaos begins!

Or: The Lan juniors try to nurse a butterfly back to health and discover some secret messages from a certain couple.

Jiang Cheng doesn’t see why the finca he and his siblings are running should now host boring arrogant rich guests. It’s going to be a fucking nightmare.
Nie Huaisang is relieved to have found this not so expensive artist retreat that takes place in a finca. It’s going to be great!

🧎‍♂️ The Depth of His Devotion | #WangXian #MDZSRBB26 Writer: RedStockings Artist: miffmiff Rating: E Relationships: Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/901729...

Runaway priest Wei Ying hires the celibate monk Lan Zhan as his bodyguard, hoping to escape the miserable fate that awaits him. But as they journey together, they uncover secrets that reach from the emperor’s corruption to the dangerous feelings growing between them.

Yet there is a price to giving in to temptation. If Lan Zhan dual cultivates with Wei Ying, he will lose more than his vows. He will surrender his identity as a monk of the Old Order, turn his back on his sect, and be forced to walk a path of his own.

But can Wei Ying really ask him to make such a sacrifice?
