Interesting thing: even his analogy is wrong. Animating with AI is not like "having sex and then they hand you a baby" — it's like they hand you an adult that you had no hand in raising, no chance of influencing, no way to steering towards becoming a worthwhile human being. It's empty. Meaningless.

As you might have imagined, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is a dread-filled blood-rampage of ungodly delights. Would recommend.
The horse op-ed is an instant classic. I can't tell you how much joy this piece gives me. It should be taught in every introductory writing class in no small part because the horse arguments are so compelling. "I have noticed that human children get to eat cake. But I am bigger than the children."
There are certain skills for certain types of story. I am good at what I do, but I have tried writing a Future Shock short story for @2000ad.bsky.social five or six times so far and NONE OF THEM have been good enough. So you just keep plugging away, because maybe the next one will be.
