Just imagine how you would feel if you woke up Wednesday and the results were the opposite of what you wanted. Would you want to travel back in time and vote? Wish granted, here you are.

reapersun@reapersun.bsky.social · 2w agoIf you pledge to my patreon through the ios app you will pay an additional 30% fee (Apple's fee, they keep all that!) AND your pledge is held by Apple for 75 days. So if you pledge to me in March maybe I will get that money for rent in June.
Finish a small project first. I'm guilty of getting lost in my own scope. But by setting deadlines for yourself, making time to work on your project and taking time for breaks, you'll be less prone to burning out and excited to work. You can gauge your capacity for large projects by starting small.

I want people who've been following me from Twitter and deviantART to understand that SEVENƎVƎS is not a side project. This story will realistically take me more than fifteen years to complete unless circumstances change and I can dedicate more time to it. I intend to make this thing My Whole Shit.
The initial concept was simply "haunted mirror". Due to spooky shenanigans, the story starts on Halloween. I wanted a palindrome title, able to be read forward and backward– like a mirror. The mirror breaks on Halloween night, equating to seven years of bad luck. Seven All Hallow's Eves. SEVENƎVƎS

This project has been a real labor of love, and I've been incredibly passionate about telling Hazel & Liv's story to you all. It was a genuine personal triumph to be able to complete the entirety of Chapter 1 in less than a year, fulfilling my goal of releasing in time for Halloween.
So, I'm certain a lot of you must be wondering...
Where's Chapter 2 ?
For the sake of transparency... In 2025, we were dealt a significant financial setback when we were denied our yearly tax return, instead forced to pay thousands of dollars in taxes and penalties, a first- and (so far) only one-time occurrence due to 2024's tax laws. In the same month, a historic storm resulted in major damages to both housing and vehicles across my hometown, which had me pulling overtime at my full-time hardware store job, as well as requiring us to get a new vehicle after ours was left ravaged by the storm.
These setbacks required me to put comic production on hold while my wife and I accepted commissions for the better part of a year just to make ends meet. We've also had to put money away into a separate savings account to ensure that we don't face similar penalties in the future.
All I want to do is tell this story and make this comic.
But I can't do it without the support of people like you.
Please consider sharing this story with your friends, and telling other webcomic fans about it. With more eyes on this project, we can garner more support, which will afford me more time to actually produce this comic. In an ideal scenario, I could reduce to a part-time position at work, thus freeing up more time to draw. That's still just a dream, but every dream's gotta start somewhere.
