The aggregating sea anemone (*Anthopleura elegantissima*) usually hosts dinoflagellate (olive-brown) &/or green algal unicellular symbionts. It gets most of its color from the symbionts, but when buried by sand - as these individuals were - it loses the symbionts & is white w/ pink tentacle tips. ๐ฆ๐
