Pretty disgusting comments from Labour MP Jenny Ridell-Carpenter at the @labouruk.bsky.social conference this week, who equates a liking of dog-friendly country pubs with real ale (which she wrongly described as warm) with being on the far-right, at the same time as saying such pubs don’t exist.

To Brewers Hall, London for the Future of Cask seminar. Does cask have a future? Of course it does! We just need to figure out what that looks like. And then go and drink some cask.

Cracking weekend at Abergavenny Food Festival matchuing beer and music for 200 thirsty punters. Thanks to Wye Valley Brewery and Antur Brew Co for helping with beers, to the festival, and for a new-to-me audience for drinking, laughing and neurosciencing on a sunny Saturday afternoon!

Hell yes. It was a long time ago. I can’t remember if I was in an office overlooking Hyde Park, London, where I worked, watching in terror with my coworkers as the whole thing unfolded, or if I was heroically digging bodies out of the rubble with my bloodied bare hands. Dodgy memory these days.

He's right, it was a long time ago. I can't remember if I was working on campus here in Princeton signing students into classes or if I was heroically leading the recovery effort at Ground Zero, bravely digging through rubble with my bare hands. Time, am I right?

Saw this on instagram. It is a real ad. Start an actual business with NO KNOWLEDGE and no experience. This is where we’re at now. People actually believing. This great con, this pyramid scheme, that you can succeed brilliantly in a field where you have no talent or knowledge whatsoever, because AI.
