A little over halfway done with my third ball of yarn, and halfway through my rounds! I have four more balls, so hopefully I have enough. Worst case scenario, I cut the blanket short. No big deal! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #crochet

Happy Caturday 🐾🤍

A black fluffy cat with huge round eyes and a curious expression looks directly upward at the viewer against a warm beige background. Above the cat is the text: “Whatever happened, happened. And because it happened, the present moment became exactly what it is. If our present is exactly what it had to be, then I was always going to be here. You were always going to be looking at me. And my tummy was always going to be empty. This was never a coincidence. This was destiny. This is bigger than both of us. Feed me.

Nothing is normal and no one is okay. You're doing great. Says Skeletor thinking maybe he’s losing his mind but at least he won’t be alone.

A softly textured warm beige background with a fluffy black cat centered at the bottom. The cat has wide, round white eyes and delicate whiskers spreading outward, giving it a gentle, attentive expression.

Above the cat, in simple white handwritten-style text, it reads:

“I hope that no matter how busy things get, you don’t forget to rest, eat well, and be gentle with yourself.”

The overall mood is calm, comforting, and caring.

I love how BTS model this gentle, affectionate version of male friendship and brotherhood that's so different to a lot of the hypermasculine shallow backslapping stuff you see on TV.

I don't understand why people are upset about "mantasy." Let the manta rays have their fantasy!

THEY TRAINED THE AI ON ACTUAL WRITERS. YOU CANNOT TELL IF SOMETHING IS AI SIMPLY BASED ON IT USING PROPER GRAMMAR. IT STOLE FROM US!!! IT STOLE!!! IT IS A THIEF AND I WILL NOT EVER BE QUIET ABOUT IT!!!!

“I will NOT sacrifice the Oxford comma. We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They assimilate the em dash and we fall back. They capture ‘not just X but y’ and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further!”

I know the tweet is Al generated when they use " ," before and.

You don’t write like AI—AI writes like you. Defend the em dash.

A rainbow-colored shield against a white background, emblazoned with an em dash on its center. A ribbon runs along the bottom reading "Defend the Em Dash".

Okay, I will preface this with the GIGANTIC disclaimer that I promise I know how this looks, and I *swear* this is not personally motivated: If you have an old #LiveJournal account, and it has things you still care about in it, download it or import it to Dreamwidth SOON. Details:

A little update, thank you for sharing it here as well! Sadly locking your works is probably not going to work as many scraped fics were locked, but maybe it'll change in the future.
