After days of chaos and speculation, it was revealed that Customs and Border Patrol officials had fired off a laser volley from a US Army base adjacent the El Paso Airport.
Flying drones in fire zones is not allowed. In a press conference on Aug. 3, Spokane Sheriff John Nowels said drones are simply not allowed and have already interfered with fire operations there. It’s not allowed in other fire zones either. #wawildfire
