Okay so this is a weird example but if we're talking about water I want to talk about my map of the real-world Okavango river basin. I made this for my reference book on worldbuilding and map design, which I used to showcase how not all rivers empty in the sea. Some empty on land. #Cartaugust 🪐 📚️

This map I illustrated of The Old Town is from my ongoing post-apocalyptic fantasy series, Copper & Ash. In book 1, the world has been consumed by deadly mists, kept at by by machines along the walls. The people who live are doing well all things considered. Just don't touch the mists #Cartaugust 🪐📚

Quick editing update on Copper & Ash book 2: I've gotten to the 70% (ish) point on this draft. Getting close to sending it out to beta readers and revealing some news publicly. I'm also working on some art for the book myself. Still a WIP but book 2 has two maps. Feel free to speculate on why. :)
