[1968] The Herbs - Series for young children made for the BBC. It was written by Michael Bond, directed by Ivor Wood using 3D stop motion model animation, and narrated by Gordon Rollings. The Herbs consisted of a fantasy mix of human and animal characters inhabiting a magical walled garden.

Terrible traffic on our way back home from a personal errand tonight but Radio Caroline on 648KHz was a pleasant listen! Definitely got very weak by the time we did get home, though. But nevertheless I am to see a station filling the gap Absolute used to take for me on MW! 🙂

[1972] In Concert - BBC series of intimate concerts for the new breed of singer-songwriter. Here, Canadian singer Gordon Lightfoot performs "If You Could Read My Mind" live. Lightfoot wrote the lyrics while he was reflecting on his own divorce.

What I love about Western democracy is you can bung a political party £ 36 million earned from criminal activity & most media will continue to point at asylum seekers & migrant care workers with families as the barbarians at the gate we need to defend ourselves from 🙄.

I avoid our local Sainsburys @sainsburys.bsky.social The staff are fed up and they only ever have one checkout open. I go there for stuff I can't get from Aldi. In there today for loose tea and I wanted bag of salad. They all expired today. I pointed this out and the reaction was 'So What?'
