The "centrist" think tank Third Way is looking to pay someone between $140,000 and $150,000 to spend their days trying to dig up dirt on DSA members. They're trying to sell this gig as "anti-extremism" work, which I find completely disgusting.

Of course every time someone notices a way that eg the model doesn't experience time but will role play experiencing time in response to being assumed to, the creators find a way to fudge over the aberrant behaviours and hide the gap between a thinking being and a being that acts like one.

This attempt to draw equivalence around their capacity for labour is a microcosm itself of the kind of way in which these machines are an attempt at constructing idealised slave minds that have no inner mental substance of their own. It's difficult to get across how much that isn't what a mind is.

This post just popped up on my Facebook from a page with tens of thousands of followers. Behind the black box are the names of 10 children the OP is alleging to be trans. The post also include photos of all 10 children, and the name of the schools they attend. They’re now doxxing minors.

Massachusettes "Millionaires Tax", which was targeted to fund transportation and education, has been a resounding success. It has funded FREE school lunch for ALL students, FREE buses in lowest income communities (people can get to work, etc.), and FREE community college. And "exodus" was minimal.

I cannot stress this enough - the side claiming to “protect children” are now posting the names of children they claim to be trans, photos of those children to help people identify them, and the name of the school they attend. It is impossible to overstate the level of danger for these children.

Like, I’m just some guy. I wrote a 280,000-word first draft of my novel in 9 months, then went through it line by line multiple times for another year, revising, rewriting, and editing to get to 180,000 words. I did it myself. With my own brain. All with a day job and kids. Zero AI at any point.
