There needs to be an agreement that someone's sex should never be changed in official documents because it's important information, and because humans can't change sex. Trans people don't need it in order to live fulfilling lives in which their rights are protected.
Difficult to know where to start with this, but the logic seems to be that we can't let these essential immigrants feel secure and welcome in this country in case they get better paid jobs....
