I got this in response to telling Trenchbird that trying to dictate who people interact with wasn't a good look. Justified by the fact that my account is now labelled Intolerant and TERF. This is the Bluesky "liberal bubble" that needs to be burst.
One thing I'm finding particularly irritating today is men tone-policing women while ignoring the targeted harassment and abuse we face. Some days I'm really running out of patience, and today is one of those days.
Responses to this giving a pretty good indication of how men react when they’re told “No” (an eloquent reminder of why women sometimes need spaces of their own)

In the landmark 1972 Bobigny trial, Tunisian-French lawyer Gisèle Halimi defended a 16-year-old girl who had an abortion after being raped. The trial was public & helped pave the way for the 1975 Veil Law, which decriminalized abortion in France. She was born #OTD in 1927. #WomensRights #LawSky
It's not even a *nice* bubble. Just a place where people are getting progressively more enraged because they don't have enough heretics to persecute.
There are people on here that don't believe this place is a left leaning bubble? That's an amazing claim, obviously there is a small number of people on here with right of centre views, but there are far more communists. It should be obvious that's this place is a bubble
Good to see lesbians' stories being told, to see the specific homophobia they experience at the hands of petty, vengeful men. I hadn't heard of the book so I'm going to see if I can get my hands on it. www.theguardian.com/film/2026/au...

I see I now have two labels attached to the account - Intolerant and TERF. Abusive people gonna abuse I guess, whether it's people or systems.
Rod Liddle, among other things, said he couldn't work in a secondary school since he's be "trying to shag the kids" (his words) and didn't think watching child porn should be illegal. He's not someone to be praised even if he supported you.
Remember those who've lied again and again for decades, whose own research warned that rising greenhouse gas levels would lead to exactly what we're experiencing. It's on them.

I am hereby adopting the label WOACA (Woman Of A Certain Age). FYI.

On the one hand, TRAs say that biological differences are irrelevant. On the other, they use those very biological differences to discredit and belittle women. No wonder they're lashing out. They're confused by their own poor arguments.
