Every reel i see of Berklee students is people 100x more talented than me either covering music you hear at the grocery store or playing original music that sounds like absolute shit

We'll have to see how things shake out in the next few years, but it's kind of hard to deny that pro-Palestine activists who called for vote abstention in 2024 made the right call

Not now, honey, I’m entering late middle age and need to tell transsexuals that they’re delusional and spreading inaccuracies over candidates treating their status like horses to be traded

"there's no such thing as junk food" is one of those things that's like marginally true but requires an absurd amount of sophistry to say with a straight face

If you want to deal with the deficit do it by cutting narrow interest group subsidies like defense spending, farm/oil subsidies, while increasing taxes on rich people But also the fiscal hawks really need to understand that they've been saying the end is near for my entire life

A trans man in the UK has been banned in the workplace restrooms after he was forced to use the women's restrooms to comply with the new EHRC guidance. The women complained because he is visibly male and so they told him he can't use any bathroom.

A screenshot of a Reddit post from the r/LegalAdviceUK subreddit by user Dijstraanon, titled "FtM transgender facing two different issues at work? England."
The post text reads:
"Brother in law is trans FtM and presents fully as a man. He's now facing an impossible situation at work with his employer telling him that due to recent legislation he must use the toilet of his birth gender. BUT several female colleagues have raised a grievance about him using their gendered toilet.
His employer has told him that he cannot use the toilet while he is at work until they sort it out and cannot give him a timeframe to do so. They do [cut off] have disabled separate toilets.
In the mean time one of his female colleagues has accused him of sexual harassment because he was used their gendered toilet. His menstrual cycle meant he needed to use the toilet.
He's been with the employer for just over 5 years but only in this location for 18 months. The location is mainly male with just a handful of females, and his workshop only has male toilets.
I do not know how to support him and as he's not in a union there is no one to turn too right now."

2024: no listen you don't understand if you don't vote for Kamala you'll fuck over trans people AND Gaza its actually very simple 2026: i will never vote for James Talarico and furthermore (1/x)

One reason trans folks feel adrift given Republican ads on trans people and Democrats going on defense is that unlike a lot of other “out groups,” they lack the political capital of other marginalized groups. There is not an advocacy group on the scale of the NAACP or the NOW for trans people
