I think this is linked to the idea that the mainstreaming of TTRPGs is a good thing and that more people in the hobby is a de facto goal. Neither of which I think actually has much evidence for being true.

Minutes before I pressed publish on the article, Bite-Sized Games (World of Game Design) posted another update conceding to refunds. Concerted shaming unfortunately remains the only tool for action against generative AI designs.
