I feel like we are so used to living in a time of madness that we can't grasp just how insane the Kennedy Center dispute is. Re:that last, the DESPERATION of genAI marketing is what really stands out to me. I can think of some dot com boom marketing that was pretty aggressive, but this is a whole different level of trying to manufacture a market for a product people didn't ask for & are repeatedly saying they do not want.
