Lots of "recompiled" games are popping up, including one of my all time favorites: Silent Hill, but I cannot be excited about it, since those are made by using genAI. For anyone that cares, keep that in mind going forward. Play them in other ways. Do not support genAI by any means.

Lost and Found Co (demo) was an *adorable* game. I got so lost in the sauce that I never took a screenshot (so I have screen grabbed from stream). The full game was gifted to me after my stream influenced them to grab it too! There's a lot of content for it being a demo.

I played the demo for 1666: Amsterdam and the entire f0xden was hooked. We were so curious and excited to see how the story was presented. We even played a second time to make a different choice and see if it changed demo content. Definitely a future full playthrough!

Another demo day today. I played The Witch's Bakery (full release August 2026). The locations are so beautiful!?!?!? I couldn't stop taking screenshots. You run a bakery and have the power to help people's hearts (emotions). Looks like the full game will have tons of exploration and socialization!

Tried @capcom.bsky.social 's Pragmata Sketchbook (like a demo of the game Pragmata) and it guaranteed for me that I would enjoy the full game. I mean, look at this:

Gonna tap the sign once more: I love promoting smaller/indie games, HOWEVER I will not play your game if you have used generative ai in it at all. I don't care if it was 'only for a small part'. I would rather see a low effort place holder than ai slop in any game.

Other than being able to turn off AI completely, the practical upshot of making DuckDuckGo my default search engine is that I get to see this jolly looking duck every time I make a new tab.
