Someone with far more money than I have should be suing Google like yesterday. Someone like, oh I don't know, studios and companies that use Google docs to share scripts & incredibly secretive documents? Someone who regularly goes after the smallest creators who even guess at a leak, maybe?

GOOGLE DOCS USES AI THAT TRAINS ON ANYTHING YOU WRITE IN IT, EVEN IF ITS A “PRIVATE” DOCUMENT. It’s now possible for users to get Google Docs’ AI to share information that is otherwise not publicly accessible, if it was written in Google Docs at some point. You CANNOT trust it w/ confidential info

check out what we're working on and Wishlist on Steam. We're making something we really believe in and I think it's shaping up to be really neat! We've also been a studio attacked for simply existing as queer, so your support means something really tangible.

🚨 KOSA UPDATE The added "duty of care" standard would force websites to identify minors to avoid legal risk, pushing the internet toward ID checks, facial scans, mass age-gating, excessive data collection and censorship FOR EVERYONE. Next comes a full Senate vote. Contact your senators NOW. (1/2)

The Senate Commerce Committee just passed KOSA out of committee with zero debate & failed to move the SCREEN Act. punchbowl.news/article/tech...

If SCREEN were to pass, you'd be required to scan your face and upload an ID to access this site because it allows "harmful" material. This affects you even if you don't care about sex work or porn.

Mike Lee's SCREEN Act, which heads to Senate Commerce Committee for markup on Wednesday, would expand age verification requirements to a nearly limitless scope of websites, and is supported by the architects of Project 2025.

When people die and the media says they had “pre-existing conditions”… they’re pacifying the public. Anyone could die from Cyclosporiasis, but they want you to believe it can’t happen to you. It can only happen to the weak, the disabled, the elderly. The expendable people. Eugenics.

Two Deaths Linked to Cyclospora Outbreak in Michigan

The patients had “significant underlying health conditions” that may have contributed to their deaths, health officials said.

The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.

Student loans are breaking *again.* This time, debtors enrolled in the SAVE plan have received a wrongful message claiming they've missed months of payments and are now delinquent. This isn't true. It's a wrongful message—and another massive error. Payments should be paused.

Real talk: My Bluesky account is my most popular social media account, ever. It's been a significant benefit to me in tangible ways. But if they think *I* think they're irreplaceable? Their very existence proves they're wrong. I peaced-out on a 60k Twitter. I'll drop this place too, if it tries it

If this is allowed to become normalized, you won't even just need to worry about these services losing your ID in a breach, you'll also need to worry about scam/compromised sites asking for your ID for the express purpose of stealing it!

It will be worse than this! Most websites will be forced to ask you to send your ID to a third party surveillance service, adding a credit card won't be enough for most. Bluesky asks for your *social security number* if you live in Texas now, due to this shit. Call in, and kill it.

This will be the US if the SCREEN Act passes. Call your Senators before August 5 and tell them that you oppose the SCREEN Act, KOSA, and the KIDS Act. Use the official lookup tool at www.senate.gov/senators/sen... to find yours by state.

Loudly lauded, love and loyalty. Poked and prodded, proceeding gracefully. The soul hears what the heart'll speak, strength even in a spirit meek. Day by day and week to week, in one another we find what we seek. Warily and weary, we walk. Sought serenity, before no challenge we balk.

The backlash must be swift and demand his resignation. This is an insult to all the people who fought to save lives, many of whom died because Trump and Kirshner sold our PPE so we had to have medical professionals wear garbage bags and reuse masks that cut their faces. My aunt died in a hallway.

I've had people, sometimes family, sometimes more seasoned creators, insinuate I write because it's not "real work" or try to dissuade me from a creative field for something more money oriented. It showed me not everyone gets it. I'm here out of passion and purpose. I need it as I need to breathe.

My heart hurts too much to even say something ironic about this. What if we just fucking start fighting for every single precious human life before they’re under attack. What if we treat now like it matters as much as it does.
