Why is it the consensus a year out from an election in which the Supreme Court is actively dismantling what’s left of the VRA that no matter what happens or what they’re doing we will *still* accept their legitimacy? Even if they’re pushing people into camps? Even then resistance is unthinkable?!

Where we can see this is a very rigged and tilted system, with rules the right is constantly violating when not rewriting them for their benefit outright, and the savvy take is “oh well when the camps come we a) must accept it b) will say I told you so.”
