The proposed deal now under discussion would give Iran a 5-7% toll for traffic through Hormuz, making the war a massive victory for the Iranians and insuring them a long-term dominant position in the Gulf. It would reflect pretty much an unconditional surrender by Trump to Tehran.

U.S. Restores Some Vaccine and Health Aid to Unicef, Gavi and World Food Programme (Gift Article)

We took ferry over from Spain to Ceuta some years ago en route to cities in Morocco. It’s weird having Spanish outposts on the tip of North Africa. Big fences kept out Moroccans & others. Moroccan authorities allowed the mass surge through but getting to Ceuta doesn’t mean they can go to mainland.
