"Pronouns used to be a funny joke, Hank. Until the government tried to tell me I couldn't use them anymore. So now I'm adamant about making sure trans people are gendered right. Not for their sake. But because I'll be damned if the US government is going to tell me what words I can and can't use."

"As a Texan, I am ashamed of the fact that Ken Paxton is even on the Ballot. I believe him to be the most corrupt politician Texas has ever seen."- Former Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley (Republican)

The fun thing is this guy seems a little weirded out about where the applause lines are lol. I.E., when he says James believes in a strong border but also wants a pathway to citizenship, it seems like there is a "huh, this is different" reaction when the second part is what gets the applause.

A bit of a surprise: former Republican Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley ahead of James Talarico. He says he’s ashamed Ken Paxton is even on the ballot. Calls him “the most corrupt politician Texas has ever seen.”

"the fuck is this?” as interface design aka “which rando dweeb did this?” what if we were knights?? and reports were scrolls. and incidents are SWORDS. and defendents are masked JESTERS. oh? case worksheets? outta ideas. briefcases.

This is not a joke. This is a screenshot of the actual case management software used by Massachusetts' 11 District Attorneys. Must-read work here by @nasser.wiki nasser.blog/dial-up-just...

I am not joking: this is AOL era software. It's got clip art. IDK how it even works on modern computers

Bernie Moreno’s reaction to Max Miller and his granddaughter “The best part of my day is when I start FaceTiming her. She's a sweet little girl. I can't even express to you what it feels like to have her in my life, I just wish her dad felt the same way.”

An actually underrated potential positive for Dems in light of Abdul’s victory is that it gives traditionally centrist or otherwise poor Dems on Palestine on an easy out for polarizing against AIPAC and pro-Israel politics— they’re trying to cost Dems the Senate.

A big majority of Americans want the
U.S. government to stop sending American $$ to Israel's reckless regime and to end the war in Iran.
Yet AIPAC is threatening to spend to deliver the Republicans a critical Senate seat in Michigan, helping a Trump stooge like Mike Rogers who will keep funding Netanyahu's wars and do nothing to stop Trump's Iran War.
This is exactly why so many
Democrats like me have rejected
AIPAC.

The Jake Tapper interview is bizarre because Miller is just repeating his lawyers arguments THAT ALL WORKED in front of the family court judge but failed the common sense questions of CNN

Worthy of note: before he died, Charlie Kirk’s next frontier was 50-50 custody presumption in all 50 states If billionaire Bernie Moreno’s battered granddaughter doesn’t stand a chance today, what happens to her at the 50-50 custody presumption

There are no laws governing child’s best interest attorneys in Maryland — the MD bar does not enforce rules of professional conduct against family court lawyers — so literally no constraints The BIA may consider best interests of the child, but not *shall*

Weirdest week: friend & former DOJ attorney litigated her own divorce because dad can afford $200,000 in legal bills, she cannot Family Court did a 1/2 day hearing crediting a lie detector expert, the credulous judge admitted him I was not alive when lie detectors were last valid in court
