Soo, can we go back to the days of web forums where people could discuss hobbies, learn about things and make friends? Social media initially replaced it fairly well but it inevitably enshitified and now it’s just ads, undisclosed ads, “content” and engagement-bait/farming.

Over the next couple of months, I'm going to make a big push in my editing career. I'm going to revamp my site, including a more robust testimonials page! In the meantime, I have openings available. On sale at $8/1k words for both developmental and line editing. I specialize in Fantasy and Horror.

Left is original self-pub cover. Right is after the series was picked up by trad. Do audiences really prefer the cover on the right hand side? I just feel like it is much worse at conveying what the book is about...

Drafting of FAITHLESS GODS is underway, so here’s another teaser to give you a taste... Levin has been rolling around my mind for a few years now, along with the rest of the cast (including Sawdust!) - and I’m sharing a bit about each of them over the coming weeks, before the cover art reveal :D

A background of dark green dragon scales with the text:

Faithless Gods
Memories of Fire: Book One

Levin Trent and his pied crow familiar, Sawdust, get into trouble more often than not. When he encounters an idol of a god supposedly killed by Reaper dragons, he learns he can’t talk himself out of every mess.

Now, Levin is part of a world-changing plot filled with powerful mages, skin-walkers, and the gods themselves. Put one foot wrong, and everything he loves will burn to ash.

All Starmer had to do to keep his job was commit to rejoining EU, nationalising rail, nationalising water & do a wealth tax, but nope. He'd rather lose his job and fail to serve a full term like his last four predecessors.
