This week, Council has an opportunity to take a stronger approach to derelict commercial sites. These buildings increase fire risk, create safety hazards, consume a higher amounts of city resources, and hurt local businesses and residents. Options will be discussed this Thursday.

I often joke on the doors that I’m the opposite of a three word slogan politician. I like to provide Edmontonians with full and complete information about issues that matter to you. You can see my comprehensive and integrated plan for how we can move forward together at ashleysalvador.com/platform.
I have always loved local government because it’s the level of government closest to people. This election is different. The UCP has introduced party politics into our local elections, with two parties now running - Better Edmonton and PACE. Let’s keep City Hall focused on people, not parties.
October nights with the best team. 💛 It's just 6 days until Election Day, every connection and conversation matters. We are going to need your help right up until polls close on Monday. If you can help with flyers, door-knocking, or on Election Day, reach out today: www.ashleysalvador.com/volunteer
This campaign, I attended numerous forums where discussions centred on vitally important topics like community safety and wellbeing, and homelessness - a topic that is deeply important to me. The housing crisis in Edmonton is worsening and we need to see urgent action from all levels of government.
Together, we can build an Edmonton where everyday people can build extraordinary lives. A city where affordability unlocks opportunity, with better transit, safer streets, and housing that’s within reach. Election Day is October 20th. Learn more at ashleysalvador.com.

The absolute easiest endorsement I can make this election season is for @ashleysalvador.bsky.social Truly, Ashley is one of the best councillors we've seen in decades. She's incredibly intelligent, but personable and doesn't condescend. She deftly builds consensus. We need her back.
A great way to spend an autumn solstice morning: supporting bike-friendly candidates in the 2025 municipal election. Here, @ethnographer.bsky.social is leafletting for @ashleysalvador.bsky.social in Ward Métis #WomensBikePoweredLitDrop www.instagram.com/p/DO5u42okQL... #bikesky #yegbike

The City’s extreme weather response has been activated due to the hot weather. It’s a good time to highlight the City’s growing network of water stations that help keep people hydrated. We have expanded from 5 stations in 2021 to 28 in 2025. Lean more: Edmonton.ca/extremeweather #yeg #WardMétis

Just like Edmonton Transit’s record ridership, our campaign is welcoming more people aboard every day.🚉 Together, we are building a city where everyday people can build extraordinary lives; where affordability unlocks opportunity, with better transit, safer streets, and housing that’s within reach.
This is the important work of a city council and municipal government. It's rarely headline-grabbing, but making neighbourhoods safer, block by block, is what it's all about. Ashley is one of the best in North America at understanding this, and making needed change happen in Edmonton.
Creating safe and livable streets is one of the most consistent concerns I hear from community members across Ward Métis. It crosses generations and neighbourhood boundaries. Everyone should be able to move around their neighbourhood with confidence. #yeg #WardMétis

"Given what we've been seeing on our streets, given the surge in fatalities, I do think the province needs to reconsider their approach."

After a long week, it’s always energizing spending time in our community! Had a lovely evening in #WardMétis connecting with folks. I even ran into two of my favourite neighbours who bring smiles and laughter wherever they go! Thank you so much for the support. See you around this summer! 💛 #yeg
It's time to lace up our walking shoes for the municipal election in October or the provincial by-elections if you can manage both! Also, you should be aware that @ashleysalvador.bsky.social's campaign kindly puts nice coffee shops right in the middle of your lit drop.
There are some places where growth just makes sense. This week, Council approved City-led rezonings in five “Priority Growth Areas” that are already well-served by transit, infrastructure, and amenities. A key move for a city growing as rapidly as #yeg. www.ashleysalvador.com/post/priorit...
