Kirsty Bolton

@lusignanmermaid.bsky.social

Likes: medieval literature, sea swimming, plants, embroidery. Dislikes: transphobes, bigots, jelly. Leverhulme ECF at Oxford, researching identity and the sea in medieval romance.

So very tempted to go to the New Chaucer Society’s ‘Reading Chaucer Outside the Anglophone World’ conference in Taiwan next year while I still have a research budget… anyone else considering? I don’t have much to contribute but it would be so interesting.

Look what arrived! Actual physical copies of my book! It’s so pretty 💕 As with any academic book, this has been quite a while in the making and wouldn’t have been possible without the support and expertise of so many amazing people. Thank you!
