is it good that every single games studio i still own is having all its staff leak comments like "we cant possibly make games under these conditions" in ten thousand articles

So I've been learning #roll20 to run a play test game. I'm making mistakes so you don't have to! Tip 1: When setting up rooms for dynamic lighting, don't make the lines meet. You want to stop the yellow line at the door, draw/place the door then start the line on the other side.

Check out today's episode for my DnD shame of the day: forgetting why the #Dragonlance setting has its name despite reading the books back in high school. Actually...if y'all are fans of the setting, tell me why! It's been a while and I remember liking it for certain scenes and my bro Raistlin.

Shook by this quote by #trans #gamedesigner anna anthropy from The State of Play, a book about video game culture. "Some people fantasize about a future where they can shoot anyone they please; my science-fiction future is one in which I can exist without fear of retaliation for my identity..."

Despite human advances, being an informed citizen is harder. AI makes us distrust our senses. The most accessible #media is often the most biased. In-depth perspectives are locked behind pay walls. Seeking clarity and accuracy has become work few have the resources to pursue. #journalism

Sharing just because this looks cool and the artwork is...well wonderfully terrifying and grotesque. Who wouldn't want a zombie head on robot legs?! #horror #ttrpg #ShadowsOverSol

Hey. Tell people when they do good job. When you like the stuff they make. When you like the characters they’ve created. The stories they’ve told. Nobody hears it as often as you think bc everyone thinks everyone hears it all the time. Trust. They don’t. Tell. Them.

Edmonia Lewis. Born of African and Ojibwe descent, she was a free indigenous woman who lived through emancipation, studied sculpture even while brutalized by classmates, travelled to Rome to study classically, and then used it to represent our beauty and depth through Renaissance marble sculpture.

In honor of Black History Month day 23, who is an older black artist that you believe should be given way more flowers? (Pre 2010 I’m being so generous with this year)
