Okay, so after no one wanted to host his concerts in Europe, Kanye partnered with Coupang to do a show in Korea. Coupang was not up on the lore, and when the backlash hit, they cancelled the concert. So Kanye's team decided to start from scratch and organize the show themselves...
However, in redoing everything they never thought to ask what language and/or writing system they use in Korea. Or what languages have massive political connotations after being forced upon the public to destroy national identity during Japanese occupation.
You may think... oh, surely they just reused a poster they made for a show in Japan. Nope. That text is Japanese for "Yes, Ye is performing in Incheon." It is describing where in Korea the show will take place.
