Students should really realize that coding style is quite unique, and copying another code and changing variable names still results in obvious detections. That includes: *variable name conventions (letter case/camel case/underscores..) *loops (++i/i++/range-based, precomputing bounds/evaluating)

What a strange formula... If you're smart, you can have only 2 ideas per year, but if you're some parasite on big projects with 20 authors where you do almost nothing, you can have 20 per year. Good for people who put their name on all the papers coming from their lab, I guess?

Yep I'm been playing with the BSP-OT solver and it is quite fast. The following interpolation is done on 300k samples and only takes a few seconds (but can only find permutations). Generating the GIF/animation is slower than solving the problem.
