Spending a little time away from Netherspire doing some freelance rn, and it's crazy how much taking some distance can help! I'm having lots of fresh design thoughts on things I was stuck on before. Had to do some stuff in a unity 6 project and... What happened to probuilder? Why did they make it WORSE? Like, why would you remove the quick-access bar and replace it by 3 additional clicks/submenus? Why would you remove shortcuts/functionalities that were in previous versions? insane...

Charlie Wagner - Wishlist Netherspire!@ccharnul.bsky.social · 2w agoHad a lingering pet peeve where doing a chain of wall jumps would have the camera hitting on the walls so I finally made it so the camera gets nudged towards the walljump direction. Small tweak but helps a lot in making it less janky (I think?) #gamedev #madewithgodot
Mostly only working on projects where I can freely model my levels these days, but looking back at the process at previous studios it's really mind-boggling how many quick tweaks and iterations you lose by not letting level designers tweak the geometry

So many little awesome little freaks, especially stone tower temple, mid and late game majoras mask has always been a blindspot for me but I’m shocked id never seen fanart or mention of these guys in the past 25 years
