Important: Trump’s executive order is NOT legislation. Though the executive order promotes more misinformation about vaccines, nothing has changed about the availability of childhood vaccines. For evidence-based guidance, please follow and share American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations.

As I learn more about my neurodiversity I have realized why I get super angry at people talking, most eating or chip bag rustling, etc. when I’m trying to concentrate or listen to someone else. Because my brain can’t handle it. I always have wondered why other people DON’T get angry. Not I know.

I am ADHD & a synesthete, so my brain works differently. I struggle w/ time in the sense that my brain breaks up days, years, & even my life into chunks - like any time after 5 is nighttime & it's hard to start anything that I want to finish that day. The weekend is basically over by 4pm on Sunday.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Last weekend was my 10 year anniversary with my current library. That means I’ve been working in public libraries, as a librarian, for 27 YEARS. Yes, I have seen some changes. I remember teaching kids about Google when it was new. We’re going through the same confusion and misunderstanding with AI.

All of this. Plus what it’s doing to our brains. I choose not to use AI (in my writing, obviously, but also in my work as a librarian - other than to understand what it is and how it works in order to help patrons make their own choices about it).

Blue Bottle Games, as a policy, does not use generative AI. It's something we've discussed as a team, weighing the pros and cons, and ultimately, we decided it was not for us. Recently, while chatting with a colleague, she mentioned it was useful hearing our reasoning. So: Sharing time! 1/12
