I finally picked up the Lord of the Flies graphic novel after I was hit with my middle school hyperfixation again. This is the best adaption of the story. Now I need an animated one… please! 😭

Okay art is fun again and I feel confident in my artistic voice again. I like the choices I make. I blame art school and crotchety old heads.
I know people didn’t like this thing but this is such a me design. Approved.
I wish I knew how to discuss eating disorders openly without seeming unapproachable. They’re so oversimplified, particularly anorexia. I’m tired of seeing illustrations of a gaunt woman looking in the mirror and viewing herself as larger, and yes, it’s always a woman. 🫠

Always encourage beginner artists! It will help them keep going, their love for art growing, and maybe one day you’ll see them again, making art for your favorite piece of media, teaching others art, or making people smile with their work. :)
